Yemeni Army: 1,122 Targeted Operations in 'Liberation Battle' Neutralize 1,747 Houthi Militia Members
The Yemeni Armed Forces announced 1,122 precise targeting operations against Houthi militia sites, neutralizing 1,747 members and destroying 364 military assets.
The official spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces, Colonel Majid Al-Nazeeli, announced the execution of 1,122 precise targeting operations against the terrorist Houthi militia sites in the fronts of Saada, Al-Jawf, Taiz, and the coast, as part of the 'Liberation Battle' declared by the Yemeni leadership.
Al-Nazeeli stated in a statement on his account on the 'X' platform that the operations resulted, according to field statistics, in 'neutralizing 1,747 militia members and destroying or disabling 364 military vehicles, equipment, and supply means.'
He explained that the strikes targeted artillery and rocket launcher positions, defensive fortifications, supply lines, reinforcements, combat mobilizations, and command and control centers. They varied between warplanes, drones, artillery, missiles, rocket launchers, and snipers.
He added that the armed forces 'continue their military operations on various fronts and battlefields according to approved plans,' in implementation of the political leadership's directives.
A Surge in Operations
The new tally represents a significant increase from previous days, as Al-Nazeeli announced on Saturday the execution of 257 operations within 24 hours, and about 500 operations on Friday.
The Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, Rashad Al-Alimi, announced on Sunday the start of military operations to reclaim the remaining territories of the republic. On the same day, the armed forces announced the start of the 'Liberation Battle' and called on fighters in the ranks of the militia to lay down their arms and return to their homes.
The Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen, through its spokesperson Major General Turki Al-Maliki, confirmed providing full operational support to the Yemeni forces and standing with the legitimate government until the state and its institutions are restored, as reported by the newspaper 'Asharq Al-Awsat.'
