The Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, inaugurated the 'Rabia Kadana' project in Mina, following its operational readiness, as part of the preparations for the Hajj season of 1447 AH. The event was attended by Deputy Minister Dr. Abdul Fattah Mashat, ministry leaders, and the CEO of Kadana Development and Development Company. They were welcomed by the Chairman of the Board of Ithra Hospitality Holding, Mr. Rami Labani, along with board members and the project team.

This project is part of strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing pilgrim services, embodying a modern approach to maximizing the use of space in Mina through advanced construction solutions. It contributes to increasing capacity, improving accommodation quality, and providing more efficient services to the guests of Allah.

Mr. Rami Labani, Chairman of the Board of Ithra Hospitality Holding, emphasized that the project represents a qualitative leap in developing the housing environment in the holy sites by utilizing space more efficiently, thereby enhancing accommodation quality and improving the pilgrim experience.

Located east of Mina, the project spans over 33,000 square meters with built-up areas nearing 48,000 square meters distributed across 62 buildings. It accommodates more than 15,000 pilgrims within a fully integrated environment supported by a transport and logistics system that facilitates pilgrim movement. It also includes comprehensive services such as health facilities, medical clinics, barber shops, central kitchens, and extensive service areas, in addition to outdoor terraces and prayer areas, enhancing service quality within the holy site.

Dr. Ayed Al-Ghunaim, Chairman of Ithra Hospitality Holding Group, explained that the project is part of the ongoing development path in the holy sites, based on providing an advanced operational housing model with permanent solutions and high operational efficiency, enhancing the comfort of the guests of Allah and ensuring a smooth and reassuring experience.

The project is an extension of the initiatives by Kadana Development and Development Company, the main developer of the holy sites. It is part of a series of qualitative transformations in pilgrim housing, starting with the two-story tent project in June 2025, leading to the completion and operational commencement of 'Rabia Kadana', enhancing the quality of services provided to the guests of Allah.
