Islam not only changes a person's beliefs but also restores their heart, mending what years have broken and guiding souls to peace. Thousands of kilometers away from the holy sites, in the streets of the Hungarian capital, Budapest, a man's life changed after a fleeting moment outside an Islamic center, where he witnessed a family scene filled with warmth and love. This moment led him to embrace Islam and subsequently reconcile with his mother after a 15-year estrangement.
Dr. Abdulghani Al-Sabaei, Director of the Hungarian Muslims Association, expressed his gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, for their continuous support of Muslims worldwide. He explained that the Kingdom represents a significant support for Muslims, reflecting its humanitarian and supportive efforts in serving Islam and spreading its noble values.
He also praised the role of the Saudi Arabian Embassy in Hungary, noting the positive impact it has had in supporting Muslims and meeting their needs. He confirmed that the Hungarian Muslims Association has been working since 2000 to facilitate matters for Muslims by organizing educational programs, advocacy activities, and strengthening the relationship between Muslims and the Hungarian government.
He pointed to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Hajj Program, which annually hosts a number of new Muslims, emphasizing that these initiatives leave a profound impact on Muslims worldwide. He revealed that he has overseen more than 500 conversions to Islam in Hungary, recalling the story of the man who was moved by the scene of warmth and returned to his mother after 15 years of estrangement.
In conclusion, Dr. Al-Sabaei thanked the Ministry of Islamic Affairs for its significant efforts in serving the guests of Allah and supporting Islamic work worldwide, expressing his appreciation for the exceptional care provided to pilgrims, which reflects the honorable image of the Kingdom.
