The Al-Ahli club delegation departed on Friday for Austria to commence their preparation program for the new sports season 2026-2027, which includes two preparatory camps in Europe to enhance the team's readiness for competitions.
Al-Ahli will hold an external camp from July 3 to 16 in Austria, after which they will move to Portugal for a camp that concludes on the 28th of the same month.
The preparation program is in line with the technical plan set by the team's coaching staff, aiming to improve the players' physical and technical levels and enhance team cohesion before the new season kicks off. Al-Ahli is set to participate in several competitions, including the Saudi Roshan League, the King's Cup, the Saudi Super Cup, the AFC Champions League for the elite, and the Club World Cup.
The external camp is expected to include several friendly matches against European teams to assess the players' readiness and provide the coaching staff with a greater opportunity to test new players and apply different tactical aspects before the season begins.
