Eastern Province Governor Inaugurates Municipal, Housing, and Investment Projects Worth Over Two Billion Riyals to Enhance Quality of Life

His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province, inaugurated today at the Emirate's headquarters, in the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, a number of municipal, housing, and investment projects exceeding two billion riyals in value.
The Governor of the Eastern Province highlighted the rapid developmental movement and qualitative projects in the municipal and housing sector, reflecting the wise leadership's commitment - may God support them - to continue developing cities and improving the quality of life, in line with the leadership's aspirations and the developmental ambitions of the citizens. He emphasized that these projects are an extension of the comprehensive development journey experienced by the Eastern Province in various fields, contributing to enhancing its economic, investment, and tourism status, in addition to its pivotal role in attracting unique opportunities and improving the efficiency of infrastructure and municipal services, contributing to building a more prosperous and sustainable future.
His Excellency the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing affirmed that the Eastern Province possesses advanced economic and tourism capabilities, reviewing the most prominent municipal, housing, and investment projects in the region, and ways to enhance service quality and support urban development paths, reflecting on the quality of life and enhancing the attractiveness of the region's cities. He noted that the total value of the projects inaugurated exceeds two billion riyals, as part of efforts to promote balanced urban development across the Kingdom's regions.
He expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Governor of the Eastern Province for his continuous support, confirming that this support accelerates project implementation and enhances performance efficiency, aligning with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 in city development and quality of life improvement in partnership with the private sector.
His Excellency the Secretary of the Eastern Province, Engineer Fahd bin Mohammed Al-Jubeir, explained that among the most prominent projects inaugurated are the development of the Al Khobar waterfront corniche, the cultural center "Al Khobar Pulse," the Bay Front project, in addition to the Dammam Creek projects and the urban center at the corniche and the global city project, reflecting the directions of developing waterfronts and enhancing quality of life in partnership with local and international investors, highlighting the Eastern Province's attractiveness for investments, along with the efforts of the Eastern Province Municipality in municipal investment and developmental housing projects and housing empowerment programs that contribute to increasing ownership rates and enhancing quality of life.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, the Governor of the Eastern Province appreciated the signing of investment agreements to develop public parks, improve city entrances, and rehabilitate main streets, enhancing the urban scene and elevating the services provided, and honored the donors of the "Jood Housing" campaign "Your Generosity Has Reached" and handed over a group of developmental housing units to the beneficiaries.
