The General Authority of Civil Aviation announced in a follow-up statement that the heinous attack on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh resulted in 12 deaths and 309 injuries.

The General Authority of Civil Aviation revealed in a follow-up statement issued on Sunday, 30th Rabi' al-Thani 1448 AH, corresponding to October 11, 2026, that the heinous attack targeting King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh on the afternoon of Saturday, 29th Rabi' al-Thani 1448 AH, corresponding to October 10, 2026, resulted in the death of 12 people and injuries to 309 others.

The authority clarified that the victims of the attack include 4 Saudi citizens, as well as residents of various nationalities: two from Bangladesh, one from the United States, one from Egypt, one from Jordan, one from Syria, one from Palestine, and one from Sudan.

The authority noted that 309 injured individuals are receiving necessary medical care in several hospitals, among them cases classified as critical injuries, with the relevant health authorities continuing to monitor their conditions.

The attack also caused material damage to airport facilities, which the concerned authorities are still working to assess and evaluate.

The General Authority of Civil Aviation expressed its deepest condolences to the families of the victims, praying for mercy for the deceased and a speedy recovery for all the injured.
