Pakistani Prime Minister Thanks Saudi King and Crown Prince for Crucial Economic Support

Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed his gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for their pivotal support to his country. He emphasized that this support enabled Pakistan to repay $3.5 billion in mandatory bilateral debt without affecting the stability of foreign exchange reserves.
Sharif stated that his country is extremely grateful to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince, noting that the Kingdom's role was crucial in overcoming this financial obligation and boosting market confidence in Pakistan's ability to meet its international commitments.
The Kingdom supported Pakistan by extending an existing $5 billion deposit and providing an additional $3 billion deposit to enhance economic stability and address global changes, continuing its steadfast supportive stance towards Pakistan.
