He stated that the investigation and evidence confirmed the militia's involvement in planning and execution, through operational review and remnants of the used drone. He explained that the attack took one of the transformers offline without affecting the electrical network, and it targeted a civilian facility that supplies electricity to the Prophet's Mosque.

He added that this is part of ongoing attempts to target the Two Holy Mosques and provoke the feelings of Muslims by targeting Mecca and Medina. He affirmed the coalition's continued deterrence measures to ensure the protection of the holy sites and the safety of pilgrims.
