Jeddah's walking trails and parks see increased activity, becoming key elements of daily life, aligning with Saudi Vision 2030.

The walking trails, parks, and public spaces in Jeddah are witnessing an increasing turnout for sports activities, becoming an essential part of daily life for residents and a choice that combines physical activity and leisure for city visitors during the 'Saudi Summer 2026' season. This is in line with a strong national trend that promotes the concept of 'sports for all' and encourages the adoption of healthy lifestyles.

Jeddah hosts 28 developed walking and sports trails distributed among neighborhoods, parks, and waterfronts, along with dedicated walking and cycling paths in major central parks, including Prince Majed Park, Al-Saja Parks, and Al-Ajwad Park, as well as trails extending along the waterfronts.

The Jeddah Municipality continues to develop and update these facilities by preparing parks, walking trails, and waterfronts to provide open environments that bring sports closer to residential neighborhoods and main destinations in the city.

This infrastructure development complements the programs and initiatives of the Ministry of Sports aimed at expanding community participation, particularly the 'Community Sports in Public Parks' initiative, which invests in open spaces to bring sports activities closer to all segments of society.

With the arrival of summer, these trails attract visitors in the morning and evening hours, offering residents and visitors a comprehensive experience that combines health, physical activity, and entertainment.

These efforts are part of the ongoing development of Jeddah's urban environmental facilities, enhancing quality of life indicators and aligning with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 to build a vibrant and active community.
