Ministry of Municipal Affairs Launches 'Our Cities Support Our Team' to Follow Saudi Matches at Public Viewing Sites Across the Kingdom

The Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing has launched the initiative 'Our Cities Support Our Team', aimed at supporting the Saudi national team and experiencing the atmosphere of the 2026 World Cup through public viewing sites in various regions, cities, and provinces across the Kingdom.

The initiative includes the allocation and preparation of public viewing sites in squares, parks, municipal facades, and public facilities, prepared by the municipalities and their affiliates to welcome fans wishing to follow the Saudi national team's matches in the 2026 World Cup, in attractive environments equipped with services and supporting facilities.

The initiative aims to provide residents with the opportunity to watch the Saudi team's matches near their homes, enhancing community participation in supporting the national team through a shared fan experience that brings together families, friends, and visitors in various cities and provinces of the Kingdom.

The ministry confirmed the readiness of the public viewing sites and the supporting facilities and services they include, allowing fans to enjoy the tournament atmosphere in well-prepared and integrated locations, enhancing the utilization of public facilities and urban destinations and supporting their presence as vibrant community spaces.

It explained that the preparations included squares, parks, public facades, and municipal sites designated to receive fans, in line with the expected turnout during the Saudi team's matches, reflecting the development witnessed in Saudi cities in the urban scene, public destinations, humanization projects, and improving quality of life.
