The Saudi Cabinet, led by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, warned the Houthi militia of consequences for attacks on Saudi airports and holy sites.

The Saudi Cabinet affirmed that the Houthi terrorist militia will face consequences for its repeated criminal attacks on Saudi Arabian airports, the holy cities of Mecca and Medina, and the pilgrims of the Two Holy Mosques, as well as on civilian and economic facilities.

This statement was made during the session chaired by Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman on Tuesday in Riyadh.

The Cabinet expressed its deepest condolences and sincere sympathies to the families of the victims of these criminal attacks, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured.

The Cabinet praised the decisive role of the armed forces in defending the nation and protecting its achievements and resources, deterring any aggression or threat to its sovereignty and the safety of its people and residents, ensuring that the Kingdom remains a land of security and safety, progressing with determination and resolve towards new horizons of advancement and prosperity, alongside the earnest pursuit of peace and stability in the region and the world.

Will Not Allow Security Threats

The Cabinet commended the military operations carried out by the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen to neutralize the militia's threat to the brotherly Yemeni people, international peace and security, global trade, and international supply chains.

It emphasized that the Kingdom will not allow threats to its security or the freedom of maritime navigation in the Red Sea and the Bab al-Mandeb Strait, expressing appreciation for the positions of brotherly and friendly countries and international organizations condemning the crimes of "this rebellious coup group."

This follows the coalition's description of the Houthi attack on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh as a terrorist act that will be met with firmness, amid widespread Arab and international condemnations of the attacks.

Rapid Recovery of the East-West Pipeline

The Cabinet praised the success achieved, with God's grace and the efforts of the nation's people, in restoring oil flows in the East-West pipeline, indicating that this rapid recovery reflects the high operational flexibility of the Kingdom's energy system, its ability to develop technical solutions, and its capacity to handle emergency situations, enhancing the reliability and continuity of supplies to international markets and supporting the global economy.

Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman announced last week the return of flows through the pipeline to about 5.8 million barrels per day, days after it was attacked.

Coordination with Allies and Friends

At the start of the session, the Cabinet reviewed the contents of the talks and meetings held in recent days between the Kingdom and brotherly and friendly countries to support bilateral and multilateral cooperation paths towards further coordination and integration to face common challenges in various fields.
