Breaking Bad star Giancarlo Esposito announces his conversion to Islam after filming '7 Dogs' in Saudi Arabia, becoming the second cast member to do so.

The Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority, Advisor Turki bin Abdulmohsen Al-Sheikh, revealed that American star Giancarlo Esposito, known for his roles in the film 'Seven Dogs' and the series 'Breaking Bad', has declared his conversion to Islam after feeling comfortable interacting with Muslims during the filming period in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Advisor Turki Al-Sheikh posted a video on his account on the platform 'X' showing Esposito performing prayer with the team from Sela Company at a mosque, marking his first prayer after announcing his conversion to Islam.

Esposito is the second star from the cast of '7 Dogs' to embrace Islam, following British producer Cyrus Patel, who announced his conversion after the film's shooting concluded in the Kingdom. Advisor Turki Al-Sheikh shared Patel's certificate of conversion dated November 7, 2025, commenting: 'And this is the certificate of the British producer's conversion after filming in the Kingdom... Praise be to God.'
