Foreign Minister Welcomes Iran-US Agreement in Call with Araqchi
Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan welcomed the Iran-US agreement to end military operations and start negotiations for a permanent deal.
His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, received a phone call today from the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Abbas Araqchi.
During the call, His Highness expressed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's welcome of the agreement reached between Iran and the United States to end military operations and begin detailed negotiations aimed at reaching a permanent agreement, emphasizing the Kingdom's aspiration to achieve peace that enhances the security of the region and the world.
The foreign ministers also reviewed the latest regional developments and affirmed the importance of continuing joint efforts to achieve lasting and sustainable stability in the region.
