With Over 38,000 Participants, Global 'Money20/20' Returns to Riyadh in September with a Bigger Edition Hosted by the Saudi Financial Sector
Riyadh will host the second 'Money20/20 Middle East' conference from September 14-16, attracting over 38,000 participants and 350 brands.
Riyadh is set to host the second edition of the 'Money20/20 Middle East' conference, one of the most prominent global events in the finance and fintech sectors, from September 14 to 16 at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center in Mulham. This larger and more expansive edition is expected to attract over 38,000 participants, further establishing the Saudi capital as a regional hub for financial innovation.
According to the event organizers, the 2026 edition will bring together 350 exhibiting brands, over 350 speakers, more than 600 investors, and 150 startups from around the world — including top executives, banking leaders, regulators, and fintech pioneers — to discuss the future of financial services across six main themes, including the future financial infrastructure, the future of payments, the future of capital, and AI-driven autonomous finance.

The new edition is hosted by the Financial Sector Development Program — one of the initiatives of Saudi Vision 2030 — along with the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA), the Capital Market Authority, and the Insurance Authority, and is jointly organized by 'Itthad' and 'Fintech Saudi'. This institutional alignment reflects the Kingdom's approach to the event as a strategic platform for its financial sector rather than a transient event.
Return After a Successful Launch
This expanded edition follows the remarkable success of the inaugural edition hosted in Riyadh in September 2025 — the first launch of the global brand in the Middle East after its established editions in Amsterdam, Las Vegas, and Bangkok — reinforcing its return with a larger scale and the growing international confidence in the Saudi market, and the Kingdom's ability to attract major specialized financial and business events.
The Kingdom is solidifying its position as a leading regional destination for fintech, supported by an advanced legislative and regulatory framework, an attractive investment environment, and a sophisticated digital infrastructure, as part of Vision 2030's objectives that place fintech at the heart of diversifying the national economy — from increasing the percentage of non-cash payments to building a globally competitive ecosystem of financial startups.
